KENO

Having originated in China, Keno was brought over to the West by Chinese immigrants during the Californian gold rushes of the late 1800's. It has continued to flourish since then, and now, most online casinos have a version of this popular game.

It's a very simple game to play, you just choose between 1 to 15 numbers on a board of 80 numbers. Each number selected is called a Spot, so if you have chosen 12 numbers on the Keno board, then you have chosen 12 Keno Spots. Then a Random Number Generator selects 20 numbers, and the more numbers that both you and the RNG select, the more you win.

There is no real system or strategy that can be used in Keno, it's a game of chance, but it can be learnt very quickly, anyone who has done the Lottery has played a very similar game.

Some casinos offer variations, and up-grades to the game, to make it even easier, or faster to play. Cherry Red for example, lets you play consecutive games, using the same set of numbers, with only one click, using the 'Play 5', or 'Play 10' buttons. Bet limits per Spot range from 1cent to $10.  Bet365 have four versions, Normal Keno, Table Keno , Bingo Keno, and Bingo Keno Extreme.

If you are looking for an undemanding, relaxing casino game to play, with potentially huge payouts for small stakes, the Keno could be the game for you.
