CRAPS AT CHERRY RED

Cherry Red is one of only two casinos that accepts U.S. players while also offering free, no download games. That's why it's one of our favourites. It is also a great looking site, with smooth, clear graphics, and if you choose to play for real, a fantastic new player bonus of up to $777.

Although lots of players are put off Craps by the complicated betting options, it's really a simple game to learn, and one of the most exciting to play.

It's also a game where you can quite easily follow a betting strategy that reduces the House Edge to less than 1%.

 Craps System

The only thing you need to to know about the game, if you are using this system, is when to bet. At the start of a game, the 'Shooter' rolls the dice. You do not need to place a bet at this point. This is called the Come Out Roll. Once this roll has been completed, the Shooter then needs to roll a '7' before he rolls the same number as the Come Out Roll to win.

 Now you place your bet.

Put $6 on the 'SIX' or '8'. For this example, say it is on '8'. These are statistically the most likely numbers to be rolled, as there are more ways for the dice to land on these totals than any others. This is known as a 'Place' bet. Roll the dice, and keep rolling until '7' or '8' are rolled. As '8' is more likely, you should 'Collect' your winnings, which will be $7.

Then 'Press' your bet, by adding $6 to your original $6 bet. You are now betting $12 on '8'. Even if the Shooter rolls a losing '7', your investment is now safe, and you will break even no matter what happens.

Assuming another win, you now 'Regress' the bet back to $6. This can win you $20, $14 for your Place bet win, and $6 that you took down when you 'Regressed' your bet.  Profiting from this depends on 2 or 3 wins, but only the first bet is a risk, and you can only win or break even after that. Don't worry if it sounds complicated, once you are playing (in practice mode to start with), it's quite straightforward.
